Connecting Empowering Ideas.
It all started in 2010 with microsavings: We created the infrastructure for women to pool their resources to leverage their money for the common good; –lending to a small local business against interest, for example–creating growth for both the women and the community at large.
With the infrastructure in place, we realized we could do more. We began to leverage the network developed through the microsavings program to help with literacy training and plant community gardens. Addressing an essential need, we decided to include educating midwives and birth attendants. Full Circle today addresses three of the most fragile sectors in these communities: finance, healthcare, and education. We aim to do the most good we can, so we apply our resources insightfully and effectively. We’re able to pick up where others leave off and access more remote areas, filling in gaps of access and training.
